Verification

All responses generated by the Vertex services are signed Nostr events as described by NIP-01. The signing process ensures authenticity and integrity of the response.

The key we are using is the same as the one behind our social Vertex Profile.

Accountability

As every response is a signed Nostr event, it is self-verifying and immutable. These properties ensure accountability, because if the service misbehaves or delivers a fraudulent response, the signed event serves as irrefutable, public proof. This evidence can be easily broadcast across the entire Nostr network, which would immediately damage our hard-earned reputation.
